The Zoning Officer is responsible for enforcing the provisions of the Borough’s Zoning Ordinance. Zoning permits, issued by the Zoning Officer, must be obtained prior to any construction, erection, relocation, or alteration of any structure.  Also, a zoning permit must be obtained prior to the filing of any application change in a commercial occupancy. A zoning permit certifies that the application is in compliance with all provisions of the Borough’s zoning ordinances.  In addition, permits must be obtained for dumpsters/pods, fences, sheds, driveways (repaving or expanding), outdoor café licenses and home based businesses.
